Chakra healing is an extensive strategy that draws on ancient Indian spiritual traditions. It involves interacting with the chakras, which are believed to be energy centers throughout the body.
According to that belief system, there are seven elementary chakras that run along the spine, each expressing a different physical, emotional, and spiritual element of our lives.
The root chakra (Muladhara) is located at the base of the spine and is related to feelings of security, stability, and stability.
The sacral chakra (Swadhisthana) is located in the lower abdomen and has to do with creativity, sexuality, and emotions.
Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura): Located in the upper abdomen, it represents personal power, self-esteem, and confidence.
Heart Chakra (Anahata): Located in the heart of the chest, it represents love, compassion, and emotional balance.
Throat Chakra (Vishuddha): Located in the throat, it is associated with communication, self-expression, and honesty.
The Third Eye Chakra (Ajna), located between the brows, is associated with intuition, insight, and inner wisdom.
Crown Chakra (Sahasrara): Located on top of the head, it is associated with spiritual connection, awakening, and consciousness.
Chakra therapy seeks to balance and align these energy centers in order to improve general wellness. To remove blockages and create chakra balance, our teachers use a variety of techniques including meditation, imagining, yoga, sound therapy, Reiki, and crystal healing.
